What I was trying to say was that options are a tough game. The major players/market makers have DEEP DEEP pockets and will do what ever it takes for THEM to profit.Whether from the short/long side....they can and will push/pummel a stock until there adgenda is satisfied, and that is why 95% expire worthless.

Great post, Stephen

It's always nice to see some reality injected into the internet fantasy world where it's easy to make a killing at the market.

Thanks for the comp!

Believe me...i have been there and back in various markets, and any SUCCESSFUL get rich quick schemes are far and few between. Most players just come and go.

The saying "grass is greener on the other side" is an understatement on Wall Street

If anyone has ANY questions regarding the market, investing, real estate,etc...just ask and I will try my best to answer

Also, something else should be emphasized...

while the skills necessary to be good at poker are probably somewhat related to the skills necessary to be good at trading, the environment is completely different. The people you will be competing against are much smarter and greater in number.

The biggest difference to me is that the best poker players bluff a fair amount and have a certain amount of gamble in them. You can't bluff the markets and the best traders I know do not gamble.
