[ QUOTE ]
Went out somewhere around 450th... I was SO card dead today. Although I probably played like less than 250 hands in 11 hours. I got AK twice and TT was my highest pair. I basically stayed alive by restealing/squeezing the laggier players at my table, and I did it infrequently enough that I never got looked up.

I finally busted when I had like 9200 in the BB at 400/800/100, folds to button with like 50k who has been playing v loose, he opens to 2500, I jam with A8o even though I have no FE because I have his range crushed, he actually has QJ, which is probably near the top of his range here, and even though I'm slightly ahead, he hits a Q on the turn. If I win that I'm at like 19k and in pretty good shape at my table to make a deep push, because people were opening light and I'd have a great resteal stack. Unfortunately, I did not win that. Ace one time.

You ever think about a stop and go there?

nath: considered it, but ultimately i think it just gives him a chance to catch up, and if i can get it in ahead (he's calling with all but the very bottom of his range pf and i'm way ahead of his opening and calling range), i should. all i'll do is get him to fold the worst hand on the flop when he doesn't outflop me.

Yeah we talked about this last night, too, and I think a SNG is bad for these reasons. He's gonna get looked up 100% when other dude hits at all, and not get as much when we hit, but obviously we do have some FE for the other times that neither hits. It may be close, but I think I'd rather shove PF as we're ahead of his range here.
