Don't listen to your friends. Just do what makes you happy. A lot of times I think people want their friends to be single so they can see them more and chase girls together.

I think there's something to be said for "getting it out of your system" when you're young.
With that said, however, you should not walk away from a girl you feel drawn to. I was always very monogamous in my college years. I almost always had a girlfriend, and generally speaking the relationships were fairly serious, one very serious. My biggest regret is not taking down more random, drunken ass back then. I walked away from some low hanging fruit a number of times because I felt a moral obligation to be faithful to girls who, quite frankly, I didn't think I'd necessarily be marrying. Pretty stupid. |
