I hate the term Alpha Male. It is usually used by idiots.
Having gone from being kind of a "not on the radar" guy in HS to so-called Alpha Male I'd say the following are important. 1. Success 2. Only have sex / date alpha females 3. Confidence 4. Be a stand up guy

I think it is both. Up to a certain age physical attributes have a much greater weight then other attributes. As such they are born but by the time you hit 25 other attributes are just as important as physical appearance.
Which leads me to add a 5th requirement that i had added but then forgot when I started my original post over. 5) Workout / Physical appearance.

I don't know a lot about meditation but I'm skeptical of it's ability to replace sex.
