Why no friends? You seem nice on here, granted the information supar highway isn't like real life. I was implying going out to a bar and meeting people, not just sitting at the bar drowning yourself in rail liquor. Perhaps you should do more than simply have it "cross your mind", and pursue the MANY entertaining options that Boston offers.

I can imagine that writing equations and proofs on dry-erase boards is tolerable only for so long.

The no friends issue has been discussed. Just take it that I have almost no friends who can go out, and those that can are often hosed and therefore can't. I'm [censored]. I pounce on any opportunity to go out, believe me, they just don't present themselves very often because of my very extreme circumstances. Basically life sucks, can't wait to graduate.

And going out to meet people STILL need a wingman. It's just not safe otherwise. MIT is perfectly situated to be a goodly trip to any bar. ANNOYING.
