That's 5ptbb/100 right? If I'm playing around 800 hands per hour, 5ptbb/100 would be $80/hour. Is 5/100 really that easily achieved 8 tabling?

ohhh your proposition mike... i [censored] HATE you.. you always 3 bet me and btw how the [censored] did u get 1000bb deep?

[/ QUOTE ]

There's no need to hate me.

It was all a bit of a blur getting 1000 bbs deep, the last thing I remember is getting 1650 bbs deep:

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $1,148.70
BB: $620.70
Hero (UTG): $2,303.15
MP: $325.08
CO: $655.50
BTN: $194.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
Hero raises to $8.00, 3 folds, SB raises to $14.00, BB folds, Hero calls $6.00

Flop: ($30) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $20.00, Hero calls $20.00

Turn: ($70) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
SB bets $178.00, Hero raises all-in to $2,269.15, SB calls all-in for $936.70
Uncalled bet of $1,154.45 returned to Hero

River: ($2299.40) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $2,299.40 ($3.50 Rake)

SB had K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$1,148.70)
Hero had K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a straight Ten to Ace) and WON (+$1,147.20)

Then the table broke, WTF!?

[/ QUOTE ]

lol, if you are 1000BB deep you may want to consider 3betting a little bigger, although i have absolutely no experience of how to play 1000BB deep

Edited cuz of your edit

Ok...here's the jazz. I have been running oh so badly as of late. Admittedly some pretty awful play thrown in with a LOT of beats and coolers. I am lifetime 4ptbb/100 on 2/4, which I have played at least 300k hands at.

For the past nearly 100k hands between 3/6, 2/4 and 1/2, I have been break even.

I am dropping to .5/1 because I NEED to make a steady $$$/hour.

What advice does anyone have on how best to play the 100s?

Any significant difference between time of day?
Are we talking about complete solid ABC?
Are we betting the button with the likes of 87s, or just dropping those kind of hands altogether?

there's more fish and worse regs, so adjust ur game to suit that. If you need to ask how to do that then i seriously doubt ur a winning 2/4 player

Over the past 100k hands i've been doubting everything myself believe me! But I can thrash 2/4 and have been doing it for a couple years.

I just need to get my head right again because I've been on a prolonged stretch of subtle tilt.

And I want to get a good start at .5/1 and getting a solid win rate going at any stakes at all would be really good.

Michaelson's formula for beating 100nl:

frequent 3-betting + frequent c-betting = mega profit.
