lol

My night was far worse than yours.

Down to 220 people or so, top 180 pay. 400/800 blinds, I get K5o in SB. Folded to me and I push my 6600 or so chips in. BB makes the brilliant K2o call and we split. No biggie.

BB: now don't do that again

Very next hand. Folded to me on the button with KK. I push in my 7k chips. Guy calls in SB.

AA good. I cry.

BB: told u

I also bubbled in one of my other three tourneys AQ < KQ.

On the good side of poker UK held a free satelitte a few months that I won. For placing in the top 4 tomorrow I go to a region wide college poker tourney in UT.

Top prize:A gold medal

But in reality, the reward is getting an excused absence from class for playing poker. Also UK is paying for the entire trip, including the transportation, hotel and food.

The best part is say 2 of the satelitte I had to do a paper. So I decided to play wreckless and try to get a big stack. That included getting it all with 66>55 on a T52 board and A7>96 on a 68T board.

So there was a charity tournament at the local Elks lodge yesterday. $50 buy in, $25 went into the prize pool and $25 went to the charity. (Later we found out that the charity was not cancer or blind kids... it was a theater group, lolz) If you came in the top 12 during your first round, you got to play in the second round at 8 pm. There were 4 sessions for the first round, and my roommates all placed in their sessions.

I didn't play because I had to work and I was gonna miss the beginning of the round 2, which I didnt want to do. So I decided to check out the side games.

Err... side game. $1-$2, raked 10% up to $6, minimum buy in? 20 bucks. Maximum? $60 (lolz). I bought in for $60 and donked it up with some old Elks for an hour and a half and left with $150. Ballin.

Ended up coming in 5th. Came into the final table with a nice stack, but it dwindled away doubling up the guy to my right 3 times. A8<TT AJ<33 A6<QJ. Bustout hand was I was on BB with KTo. Folded to Button who limped, SB folded, I pushed with 7-8 BB, and got snap called by KQo. Expert play sir. Also ended up down 5$ from cash games. Mostly from an omaha hand where a guy didnt raise preflop with AAxx and I had A4xx and the board was A442. Oh well, the real joy of the trip was buying energy drinks so I could charge the university for them.

I think I should just quit playing this month since I apparently can't win after running good last month
