Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD [OCT]***
I did buy some tea the other day, so maybe...
One of those sampler packs that included Eng Breakfast Tea, Irish Breakfast Tea, Earl Grey and Lady Grey. I'm very tired of high fructose corn syrup in stuff I drink. Any other ideas for teas? American tea is Lipton tea, raspberry flavored Lipton tea, peach flavored lipton, etc etc etc |

Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD [OCT]***
Meh, I just drink English breakfast tea. Can't taste the difference between teas anyway because I put a tonne of sugar in it. Are beers in America ever sold in a pint glass like it should be? Or is it always in crappy bottles?

Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD [OCT]***
Funny story from work today, prob standard for those of you that have been around offices a lot:
This morning I get an e-mail that I know absolutely nothing about (standard) because some computer system went down. I then get two more emails quickly about the same thing, all from people I've never heard of (i.e. not the ppl that usually send out IT-related stuff at my company), and I realize the mail was addressed to "Mailing List: XXXXX Office" halfway across the country. Wait, but I work in Redwood City! I look up the info for that mailing list and see that one of its members is some cryptic list called "Send Restrictions" and one of SR's members is "All Company Employees." So that explains how I got it. Over the next 5 mins I then get like 30 emails from people who all hit "reply to all" (including the XXXXX Office list and thus including all company employees) all saying "wtf I do _______ in the _______ location why am I on this list." Sigh. |

Re: ***SSNL LIFE THREAD [OCT]***
goofy,
Happens all the time. You will most likely see a follow-up email from the original emailer saying something like "sorry" or "please disregard my previous email." |
