They weren't mathematically eliminated as of a couple months ago. This doesn't mean other people weren't correct in saying that they aren't going to make the playoffs. [/ QUOTE ] On paper the Astros were maybe the third best team in the NL central and that is where the are at right now. They have basically performed right up to their potential.
