Re: ** WSOP ME, $10,000 NLHE, Day 6, Sun., July 15**
Would it be even possible to estimate the number of man hours this event will take?

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] are the updates on websites really that pathetic? there are only like 24 people left... whats the deal? maybe they should let Rain Khan do the updates while playing. I hear he's quite the multi-tasker. [/ QUOTE ] Oh you didn't hear? He actually *is* doing all the updates. That, and he's given Tiffany the rest of the tourney off by conducting all of the exit interviews, too. He's also running several cameras for ESPN, and giving the TD some help with the floor decisions. All that while playing seventyleven simultaneous SnGs on Ladbrokes between hands. [/ QUOTE ] i also heard RainMan was playing sit n gos DURING the main event. apparently the tournament itself isn't exciting enough. then i heard, that if he wins he's going to "make it rain". [/ QUOTE ] It's unbelievable how much Rain Kahn looks human when everyone knows that only a bot can do that kind of muti-tasking. Nice touch to program the chair as hat circuit. |

My sources also tell me that Rain Khan has been tipping the dealer $1,000 after every single hand just so that he HAS to finish first to end up ahead for the tournament. It's his own little "goal" that he's set up for himself.

I've not been following the ME too much, can anyone tell me when the final table is likely to start and when the whole thing is (roughly) likely to end. Also, is there somewhere the final table can be streamed?

Stefan Mattsson Is Eliminated in 22nd Place ($333,490)
Mattsson pushed in middle position for his last 830,000 and Jerry Yang called from the big blind. Mattsson's {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} trailed Yang's {A-Spades}{J-Spades}, and when the board ran out {2-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{Q-Clubs} Mattsson was eliminated. Yang is now up to 9 million |

Lee Watkinson Calls Down Philip Hilm With Ace High
At the Featured Table, Lee Watkinson raises under the gun to 300,000, and Philip Hilm calls from middle position. The flop comes {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and both players check. The turn card is the {Q-Spades}, and both players check. The river card is the {6-Hearts}, Watkinson checks, Hilm bets 450,000, and Watkinson thinks about 30 seconds before he calls. Hilm quickly mucks, and Watkinson shows {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} as he collects the pot with ace high. |
