And you're acting like a typical caller to WFAN bitching about why the Mets didn't go all out to win one game at the expense of the 161 others. It's a long season. Give Omar a break. He's done a pretty good job. I'm not going to substitute my judgment for his when it comes to player personnel decisions, particularly when he's got about 1000 times the information at his disposal than I have.

And you're acting like a typical forum imbecile who doesn't have the ability to read. READ MY WORDS. I don't think starting Sosa increased our chances to win that much. (yes slightly a bit because no one is worse than Park) I think it was a bad descision by the Mets because it was UNFAIR TO SOSSA because he DESERVED the [censored] start. You are trying to tell me that calling up Jorge [censored] Sosa too soon would wreck our chances to win games down the road. he is NOT A PROSPECT HE IS A FRIGGAN JOURNEYMAN. You are utterly ridiculous!!!!!

Christ almighty. Pelfrey is pitching himself out of the majors right now. He needs a ground ball desperately.

Should I just turn off mlb.tv now? I'm playing my first session after moving to 200nl, and I'd like to maintain a positive mindset. This game is going to make me kill someone I have a feeling...

Well, he kept it to 3-0. Lineup tonight is Reyes, Wright, Beltran, Delgado, Alou, Green, Lo Duca, Easley, Pelfrey.

So wright gets to bat 2nd.

Pelfrey would be a scratch golfer if his inning by inning runs allowed for the last few starts were a golf score card. Love moving Wright and Alou up in the lineup, though.

Pretty Insane the Mets didn't score in the 1st. Nolasco is absolutly horrible, you just cant have your 3 and 4 hitters strike out like that Delgado looking. And if Randolph put on that ridiculous Valentine-esque little league play than he's insanely desperate, though I'm pretty sure Reyes did that nonsense on his own.

I can't believe i just saw the ol' double steal with 1st and 3rd. Except Reyes got an awful jump. This just isn't a very good start for the Mets. Especially with Delgado and Beltran striking out after 1st 2 get on.
