Right, when I'm playing PLO and LO8 at the same time and have lost w/ a full house 6 out of 6 times concepts like, "lows getting counterfeit" and "playing for half the pot" don't make it to the front of my consciousness as often as they should. Well that's what I was referring to when I said that concepts like "lows getting counterfeit" and "playing for half the pot" didn't snap in immediately. I did realize on the turn that I no longer had a live low, which is why I started jamming it, hoping people w/ lower flushes and various lows would call along and I'd take the whole high (which obviously I would have unless someone had exactly 4c 5c).
