I think most pokerpros before the internet had some street sense to them.

Daniel N. says he grew up hustling pool games and poker games in Toronto and that experience helped him a great deal. Im actually a former pool (9 ball) player and I played very seriously for over 10 years before poker. I travelled all over the midwest looking for good games. Any one who has spent a long time in pool halls learns not to trust anyone, not even your best friend who set up the game.

On a different aspect of this whole situation....

Is anyone else as tired as I am of hearing about "non conference home winning streaks" in college basketball? Is there any more meaningless stat? I mean, these basketball powerhouses usually just schedule cupcakes for home games before the conference season starts, and their only tough games are usually in preseason tourneys played at neutral sites. What a silly stat!

shane,

Giga was the hustler, not the mark. If anyone cares to discuss the Giga as conman/liar/fraud thing further, start a new thread so we keep this one on track. If you care, shane, PM me and I'll tell you what good friend of yours can fill you in on all the gory details.

Blackjack777: Why did you come back?

[/ QUOTE ]

If I bother you so much, ignore me.

I have written a couple test comments with a friend's account (not a gimmick, I told my buddy what I wanted him to type and he did)

And two of the three got requoted, and I even got one "You should post more."

Blackjack777 is a victim of his reputation. (I just went third person on myself)

I will continue to post here, as I have watched this thread grow up since there were ZERO replies.

Also, I have a couple of WONDERFULL hatemails from Brandi-Rose herself, I am not the kind of guy who reposts things received in private, but they are JUICY and full of fun.

Peace.

On the other hand lets compare how this story would play out for guys with some street smarts. Lets take Gigabet, or even Daniel N., guys who grew up in the streets from their own accounts. These guys were out hustling in their teenage years. Far away from their mom and dads family room playing Nintendo. Im not sure if Gigabet is a good example because I think even a Brandi would be scared to approach that scarey looking dude, lol.

[/ QUOTE ]
You're right that Gigabet is probably not a good example, but you're wrong as to why. I'll let others elaborate.

Um, I don't get it--because he grew up in Iowa? Or is this just random passive-agressiveness?

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought nath was speculating that he was busto.

It's been discussed numerous times, but what do you expect when you got a guy like Mark, and all he knows is video games/dungeons and dragons his entire junior high and high school life greasy hair and all. Then all of a sudden he hits a huge lick. Now 'hot chicks' dig him. WTF is Mark to do?

[/ QUOTE ]

I was pretty naive when I was 21 too, but I sure as hell would have been smart enough to get more than a lubeless handjob from Brandi... and not give her my poker password in the process.

I'll take "Blowjobs While Driving" for free, Alex.
