Re: Absolute Poker Scandal: An Inside Job
Wouldn't either of these guys be arrested as soon as they set foot in the U.S. as the CEOs of online gaming companies? Would they seriously just be chilling in Michigan? Look what happened to the Neteller dudes and they didn't even work there anymore.

Re: Absolute Poker Scandal: An Inside Job
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Just came across something weird: http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=453919 It's some sportsbetting site I found with a user named "puremoney" (same as Scott's Myspace name), and in this post he mentions Absolute -- but does not give off the impression he's anyone major at all. None of his other 22 posts mention Absolute, and only a couple involve poker. What are the odds of two different "puremoney" usernames (I've only been able to find 3-4 instances of different people using this username on any types of forums/sites online) both being involved with Absolute Poker? [/ QUOTE ] Update: It looks like it may be him. "who is AK? If you dont mind me asking. And if gyno thinks i am a ghost because my number of posts, i guess i understand that. I didnt think of that. But i am not. I have just been a member at other forums, and finially signed up here. The main reason i never posted or signed up before is because most of the people are about like this. It is always drama or smart ass comments to questions. This is not the username i use on other forums and you would be surprised to who i am on those. But i am not a ghost of anyone here." http://www.therxforum.com/showthread...41#post3839741 [/ QUOTE ] The rabbit-hole gets deeper: http://www.therxforum.com/showthread...41#post3839741 In response to that quote, another poster says: Whats up cody.. This guy is iamkidpoker from doc's place. --- So google "iamkidpoker" and the first Google result is: http://www.casinomeister.com/forums/...mkidpoker.html edit: I have no idea what this all means. But what are the odds of two people having the username "puremoney", talking about Absolute Poker, making cryptic comments about "who I am", and having a Casinomeister username? |

Re: Absolute Poker Scandal: An Inside Job
I doubt either one of them is in Canton right now -- especially Scott, who is clearly living in Costa Rica nowadays.
You can't completely dismiss the Seif heads-up match now. The K9 boat open-fold was ONE hand, yes, but it wasn't just that one hand being complained about. That was just the most offensive of the bunch. stuckinpgh actually complained that Seif seemed to know the right moves EVERY HAND. I know this because I know stuckinpgh personally, and he discussed it all with me right when it happened. BTW, why has Mark been so quiet about this whole thing? He hasn't made one post or public statement clearing AP or even his own name. I'd love to see him involved here. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Mark Seif open folded, it happens, it's happened to me when I've had a good hand and a bad hand. [/ QUOTE ] Have you ever played limit If so, have you ever open folded in a capped pot PF If so, did your opponent happen to flop top boat that hand [/ QUOTE ] omg its one hand, he was a loser in the game, and i'm pretty sure the guy took back his allegations [/ QUOTE ] NO ONE who plays limit would EVER open fold a 522 flop with 8 small bets in the pot already with ANYTHING they got there with Did you read the guy's story or are you just assuming it couldn't have happened? AS DESCRIBED BY HIM it sounds VERY MUCH like Seif got sick of losing and called his superuser buddy to tell him the other guy's hole cards. And as I understood it he retracted it later basically because he was doing well at AP and didn't want to rock the boat. |
