That guy is down like 4k in the 2k hands I've played with him. Love him. Too bad everyone else seem to love him as well.

[/ QUOTE ]

Heīs up 3 buyins in the 800 hands i played against him, mostly because tagfish like myself stack of way to light against him.

Here is a hand i totally screwed up against him.

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $488.50
BB: $251.30
UTG: $223.25
MP: $197.00
CO: $481.25
BTN: $241.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
2 folds, CO raises to $10.00, BTN folds, Hero calls $9.00, BB calls $8.00

Flop: ($30) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets $44.00, Hero calls $44.00, BB folds

Turn: ($118) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets all-in for $427.25, Hero calls $427.25

River: ($972.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $972.50 ($3 Rake)

CO had A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (two pairs, Aces and Jacks) and WON (+$488.25)
Hero had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (a pair of Aces) and LOST (-$481.25)

That was one of the first hands i played against him and my read was that he was a 75/25 maniac
who bet everything and stacked of easily. I didnīt want to risk getting pushed on preflop
but was very confident my hand was good after hitting.

There is a player @ 1/2NL who is 72/10 over a decent sample.... Yet whenever I sit down with them he manages to get a 2-3-4 Buyin stack...and is a winner over this sample as well

I mean wtf !

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm pretty sure I know who you are talking about and when i first started playing him he just hit absolutely everything and won $2k off me specifically in 1000 hands. I'm almost even against him now though. He is a big loser overall in my database.

I've just been nutpeddling against this guy (Montagnais/Montagnais2)lately. He's just so damn hard to read. He somtimes vb's bottompair and stuff like that as if it is nuts. Most of the time it costs u ur stack to find out where u stand. I recently won 6.5 bi's of him in about 45 minutes of play though

sounds like one of those players where nutpeddling is very profitable with low variance. On the other hand, gambling with him is even more profitable, but swingy as hell. I can't argue with either strategy.

nut peddling against Montagnais is the definition of money hating. i prefer second pair peddling, maybe lower if he's really in the zone.

This is my list of players who i think are the best. Notice this isnt toughest to play against, just who I think has the most skill. List is just ordered alphabetically back to front, and I play during the day mostly so its skewed to players who play primarily during that timeframe.
