Meh, I'd cbet sometimes or c/c sometimes. Once you check and he overpots c/f is obv good but depending on the action I don't neccesarilly fold flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Lets pretend villain has A7, I can't imagine hell fold to a flop bet, but will he fold to a second barrel on the turn if its a nasty card like a j,q,k of clubs or something?

Never try to get someone off top pair in a sng. Also against 2 villians calling a raise, one of them usually has an ace.

I'm not trying to get him to fold A7 but I think you are underestimating.

1. How often you have the best hand
2. How often if you bet one villain will call with a worse hand.

Hey Eagles, one thing I got from my exhaustive reading of your post + links yesterday, was that bad players get upset when they lose money and good players get upset when they make a bad decision: - being half way to being a good player I now get really pissed when I make a bad decision that loses money! I don't get mad when I make a bad play that makes me money, but those are the hands that I'm most likely to dwell over and learn from.

I never commented on any part of the hand. I don't always check/fold. However, if you do cbet you have to shutdown if called.

ok so what about this spewage: Another $27, villain had raised my blind a few times not every but a few

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com

SB (t3620)
Hero (t2430)
UTG (t1987)
MP (t3998)
Button (t1465)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
3 folds, SB raises to t300, Hero calls t150.

Flop: (t600) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets t300, Hero raises to t600, SB calls t300.

Turn: (t1800) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets t600, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t2400

So I call with the 8s, should I have raised pre? I hit a flop that looks pretty good minraise to try and show strengh and then he bets the turn hard. After he called the minraise and the 3 comes on the turn I was hoping he would check and then I would push. Help!!
