I have no idea whether the allegations about Annie Duke from Negreanu or anyone else are accurate, but I played with her all day yesterday and she was a class act: very friendly with everyone at the table, more critical of her own play than anyone else's, etc. She was willing to talk to me at the end of the day about a pot we played, offer her thoughts on alternate lines I could have taken, and even tell me how she would have responded to various actions on my part.

Moreover, she came over to me at the end of the second break today to check in and see how I was doing and congratulated me and offered some words of encouragement when I busted out. I have a very high opinion of her based on my experiences, but I have no idea whether those other stories are true or not. I hope those of you who have never met her will at least suspend judgment.

They can't actually finish the tournament a day early, can they? Why are they getting so far ahead of schedule instead of just stopping early today?

They can always have it sped up so much that they go from 27 to 9 on Tuesday and give the Final Table the day off on Wednesday to prep for the big day.

Wouldn't surprise me at this point.
