hypothetically, if I were to make a long Carpal-Tunnel like theory post in SSNL, but completely make up a bunch of stuff that's not true and add some tough looking mathematical equations, how many people (newbs mainly I imagine) would respond with stuff like "great post!!!!1"?

if I'm not considered respectable enough of a poster, then how many other SSNL regs or just 2p2 regs in general could do it? Basically what I'm trying to say is I think parts of 2p2 are turning into circle-jerk fests, and it's kinda annoying. I may try this in the future so keep on your toes.

ZJ did this once in some donkament forum (made up a bunch of theory crap that was not true at all) and about half the responses were "uh wtf this makes no sense" and the other half were "lol brilliant ZJ you other guys that don't get it are morans."

goofy, I think your thinking of the hsnl hand where he called with the nut low. Also, it would be very easy for a ton of people to do that

yeah, IIRC ZJ even went to a ridiculous extreme with it and some people still thought he was serious. I think he called an all-in on the flop with the nut low for metagame purposes. If you made one slightly more believable I think you get could 75% support.

Yeah, that's it. I think dbitel did this once too in a strat thread, but IIRC a bigger number of regs were like "uh yeah this doesn't sound right."
