Re: *Official* Philadelphia E-A-G-L-E-S Thread (2007-2008)
[ QUOTE ]
In 2002, they won despite Feeley, not because of him. They won because of a good defense and a very easy schedule. The Eagles did not beat a winning team under Feeley. The only winning team they played under Feeley (Giants, Week 17) beat them. And, of course, the tradition continued this week as he beat 0-9 Miami. [/ QUOTE ] QFT, a lot of AJ fans forget this. In the Giants game they put a whole 7 points on the board. On last years record: They were 5-4 going into the Titans game. Take away a stupid Trent Cole penalty in the Giants game and a stupid Jerome McDougle penalty in the Tampa game and they likely would be 7-2. I don’t think McNabb was on the filed with the defense either time. On Garcia>McNabb: First half of last season Westbrook had a sore knee. He missed the GB game, and his action was likely limited in the other games because of this. Also, Stallworth missed 4 games early on, including the losses to NO and Tampa; Garcia had both of them at his disposal when he was the QB. |

McNabb is out vs. New England.
So, New England by 20? |

E - A - G...L........E.......... ahhhh, [censored] it.
Seriously, this is the first time that I can remember having no hope whatsoever going into a game. |

[/ QUOTE ] I wanted to bump this thread because there are a bunch of toolboxes posting in the NE/PHL game thread. 1. I wish this was the Eagles team that showed up in Week 1. It's pretty much a whole different team. 2. McNabb is history (lol that this is his 31st birthday). I'm tired of all negatives associated with him. 3. [censored] the Eagles front office for trying to fuckover Stallworth with the positive drug test leak so they could get him cheaper. Every time I hear Stallworth's name that pisses me off. |
