I've always wanted to be brutally honest in an interview:
[ QUOTE ]

I'll be a model employee for the first few months, then I'll get bored, start showing up late or not at all, probably start poking your secretary. Of course, I'll still be doing the work of two less intelligent employees, so you won't be able to fire me despite my obvious drag on morale and the open comtempt I show for you and every other useless piece of [censored] manager is this hellhole. So, when do I start?

I told my (now) boss in my last interview that I didn't want to work in Support anymore because it had got boring and I didn't think I could do anything better than I already did (I'd been there for 2 years). I said that my main concern in this prospective job is to not get bored, and the other stuff doesn't matter very much. I got the job. Infact, I got the job and one of the owners of the company said I couldn't leave support for a couple of weeks as it was too busy for me to go. I don't think it's neccessarily bad to be honest about these things...

well that was gay.

the korean girl is returning on the 8th of this month. I told her I'm going to Osaka for a month. She said she's leaving Japan in 6 months for a while. She hates Japanese people.
She told me to choose between her and the Japanese girl.

I chose the Japanese girl.

We got into a fight. She told me never to see her again, or email/call again.

sigh.

sucks, but given the situation you did well. didn't she get the memo? ultimatums never work in your favor.

Killian,
She's the one who gave the ultimatum, and she has to live with the result. Also, didn't she completely lose interest in you until you got a girlfriend?

If anyone knows/hears about cheap flights from anywhere in Central Europe or the Balkans to the US, please let me know.

Kill - you were probably going to have to stop seeing/speaking to her anyway by the sounds of it. I dount Japanese girl would approve too much, and I would want to be on the best terms possible with her especially since you are to be living together. Might see harsh on Korean girl/sad for you, but its for the best I think.

In my defense, if chilling with her last night only required 1 call, I wouldn't have made more than 1 call. However, you guys are def right. Just gonna chill and see what happens.

I feel sad though, she was a good friend, but honestly if she was that good of a friend than she wouldn't have made an ultimatum. I have other friends, they say "Wow good job, isn't she pretty"
They don't say "Wow, stay in tokyo or we're not friends anymore"
bs.

If she liked me in that way then she should've done something.

Anyway, in my hotel in korea. It's mostly Japanese people since it's a japanese booking agency.

Two japanese girls came in to the front desk where I was talking to the people working here. Which're very nice.

I offered them krispy kreme doughnuts. They took them. They sat down and we started talking.
found out they're 19-20.
Also found out their room is right next to mine. I asked them if they want to go shopping with me, then food, then karaoke. they said ok.

not sure it's a great plan, since there's no real goal here

trip report to follow.
