Im at 5ptbb/100~ after 100k hands at 2/4, but break even after 40k at 5/10.

there are a bunch of guys who could easily win 6+, i could probably name 20 off the top of my head... but they all butt heads at 5/10 instead now. there are a lot of people who play better than i do that win less money because they have different priorities. there are also a lot of guys who come along and play all day for a month and impress me a lot, i see them killing it all the time but then when that month is over they go back to uni or wherever and i never see them again.

it is surprising that there aren't more guys like me that keep the game set to ez mode, but if there were then there would be more people with solid winrates. i am nothing special, i play 12 tables on autopilot half the time. someone who was motivated could play a LOT better than i do, but most people need it to hurt for them to keep trying.

so yeah there probably aren't that many people who have the stats, but there could be. probably a lot of it is age, im 25 and i just want the [censored] money... most of the other talented grinders around are young enough to be more focused on the glory.

anyway i know i talk about this a lot i just like to offer a different perspective to the 2p2 norm and it comes up pretty often.

There are so many factors with win-rates. My lifetime rate is 6PTBB/1100 over about 310k hands, with the slight majority at 5/10 and most of the rest at 3/6 but I have loads of holes in my game. It's just that I only play recreationally outside work so play some evenings/weekends (when it's probably softer action) and not masses of tables. It's guys who play tonnes of tables at all hours over long periods with good rates that impress me.

just caculated my lifetime 5/10 (pretty much since last july onward) across fulltilt, stars and party. I ran at 3.75pt/bb over 250k hands.
