I see this reasoning all the time and this thread is no exception. The logic behind your thinking is horrible. Blame is not a zero sum calculation. By your statement Mark is ~80% responsible and Brandi is ~20% responsible.

The reality is that Mark is 100% responsible for, well, allowing himself to be a mark. Brandi is 100% responsible for taking advantage (by using taking advantage I'm putting her actions in the best possible light. The reality, I suspect, would be described by much stronger words) of Mark. She gave sexual favor(s) to a guy she later claims she found disgusting in return for favors, gifts and access to the possibility of making big dollars playing on his account.

Each person is responsible for their actions. Assigning more blame to one party just isn't intellectually honest. You can have a debate as to who's actions were the worst, but I don't see much of a contest. At worst Mark did something really stupid in hopes of laying the wood to what some think is an attractive woman. Brandi, at best, took advantage of someone she found disgusting, lost a great deal of his money and, in the aftermath, has made every effort to destroy his reputation.
