What exactly does this PokerEV graph show/explain/prove?

I'm just curious. what are levels of running normal/hot/horrible?

over 4 million hands you'll run pretty normal.

AJ,

What are you people expecting? I don't know how much I'm down in cash games but its at least 5 figures. I'm thinking around anywhere from 40k-60k.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dude, wtf? How the hell can you not know exactly how much your down? Plus, the maximum level you played was 400NL right, so how the hell can you lose 100buyins? without moving down? Also, how big is/was your bankroll such that your able to sustain these kinds of swings?

idk what I'm expecting. I'm just sorta speechless about the whole thing.

I do know that you've been posting in strat forums for a long time. That people give you good advice over and over again. That you have a good work ethic and are able to play many hours a week at the tables. And that you could probably work on your game at NL50 and make $700-$1000 a week while getting better. And to play 4 million hands the way with the game you were playing, well, that's just insane.

This is extremely far from the truth.

You are saying I've won over 3k lifetime over 3 million-4 million hands?

Are you nuts? I don't want to break a bet but I will guarantee I'm down a significant amount.

I can't wait for this pokerv thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

WTF? Didn't the 400nl and 200nl regulars on stars say that you're a pretty decent player and a winner in those stakes? Obv the bet is now off Gidwulf as if Fgators along is saying he's down, I can take this bet as he has access to his bankroll and I don't have access to anything but a couple of posted HH's and our 100NL history which was a looooooong while ago.

[/ QUOTE ]

So you took the bet based on incomplete information and now that you've got more you want to back out.

There is a word for that around here young man.

It shows three lines: one line which looks like a normal PT graph which shows your actual winnings. The other two lines only consider hands where you get all in before the river. One of those lines reflects how much money you won on that particular subset of hands and the other line reflects how much money you should have won based on your equity. The graph doesn't show whether you had an unusual number of coolers or dead cards.
