Yes, you are Ama ... your flop check tells villian that you do not have a J or a 9, he hits an 8 on turn and you call a weak bet. River does not change anything, you are dead.

This is a valueline and I like it with weak J or 9, but no folds available fo sho.

Raise turn and 2nd barrel river or pushing river are fold attempts, the latter of these seems silly, the first is something I might do once in a while.

He was playing retardely aggressive. At the tables I seek out (VPIP &gt; 60% and average pot size &gt;40BB) these situations occur frequently. It's highly profitable when you are running normal but equally highly frustrating when you hit a losing streak.
