Seemed like a very good crowd tonight and lots of hustle plays from Andruw, Willie C, and Pete Orr to go with Smoltz's pitching kept them cheering. Nice to see.

It's amazing how much people still hate the Dodgers. Still a big rival for Atlanta fans.

I really don't buy that - mainly because the Braves were pretty much awful the whole time they were in the NL West. Their rivalry with the Mets is much stronger even though shorter because both teams have been good in multiple years.

<Brag>

Got 4 front-row dugout seats for Wednesday night's game: Smoltz vs. Maddux. Got the tickets for $65 each, which is basically face value.

Sick, Ben. Wish I could be there, I'm working on some Braves/Red Sox tickets though. Looks like we had a good win today, out of town & didn't get to see it.

Only 4 runs with Davies on the mound!?!?

Haha, Chipper flipped the F out today. Pretty awesome. He rarely goes off like that.

Anthony Lerew is getting the start tomorrow. I like this move (not that there was much of a choice) he could be ready to become a full time big league starter.

Hello Braves fans. My other thread did not get answered by you all, so I'll ask here:

I'm curious whether you think that the Braves are currently performing up to their abilities, underperforming or outperforming, as a whole.

And what I'm really curious about is whether you expect the team to improve much (or perhaps get worse) over the course of the season.

Are there particular players you expect to join the team later, either because they are now on the disabled list or in the minors? Are their particular players who are doing significantly better or worse than you expect them to do over the whole season?
