Default why are you crying? it\'s only a knock-knock joke.

2/4 at red rock with my friend ben. a new dealer pushes in whose name is Dawn. the first thing my brain associates is this episode of _full house_ where stephanie gets mad because the kids at school start calling her step-on-me so she changes her name to dawn. after some lessons are learned, bob saget makes some jokes making fun of the name "dawn", and stephanie goes back to being called "stephanie".

a few hands pass and ben wins a small pot. as dawn deals the next hand, ben asks, "did i tip you for that last one?" she shakes her head and he tosses her a chip.

"it just dawned on you that you didn't tip her?" i ask. ben gives me a confused look.

"do you know what my favorite patrick swayze movie is?" i continue.

"uh... _roadhouse_?" ben guesses.

"_red dawn_" i say.

the next dealer pushes in: a cute korean woman named Gina. gina is pretty cool, and somehow she, ben, and i get to talking about bad female 80s pop vocalists: tiffany, debbie gibson, bananarama, and the waitresses. she even sang the entire chorus of "i know what boys like".

ben wins another small pot and again can't remember if he toked afterwards.

"it just ginaed on you that you didn't tip her?" i ask. ben lols.

"ben, do you know what my favorite quentin tarantino/robert rodriguez movie is? _from dusk till dawn_."

we ask gina if we can convert this table to 2/4 omaha/8. she actually calls this idea "retarded". we offer a compromise in the form of 2/4 HO, but no one else seems keen on the idea.

after earning a dollar from ben for knowing the band that recorded the song playing in the casino (NU SHOOZ ftw), gina is relieved by an older white guy. this gentleman's name: Don.

If we were in a schoolyard this would result in me yelling "you take that back!" followed by you saying additional stupid and untrue things about one of the truly great and underappreciated groups of that era. Then it would degenerate into a scuffle in the dust until the vice-principal broke up the fight.

Default Re: Less Hugs, More Bans (NC Thread)

anyone using Poker Office out there? I tried it for 300 hands and I have to say its far superior with the live tracker vs using PAHUD and PT however I can't find heads up numbers vs fish I target, nor can I find standard deviation and fish time charts where you perform best.

In other words I would like to switch because PT is so bloody slow now with 140k hands in it but PO I can't seem to find all the stats I am used to.

They have some that PT doesn't have that will probably be useful and I guess I could use both but then I am stuck playing one table at a time or getting a computer upgrade, which I would rather wait for.

I've owned probably 6 or 7 game consoles in my life. The lastest one is PS1. I just don't play games like I used to. And my ol' lady has never, ever played games.

She came home today and told me she had been over at her friend's house playin wii all morning. wtf? tennis, baseball, bowling, boxing (double wtf?) she says she played so much her shoulder and arm is sore.

i guess I'm in the market for a wii.
