Glavine Rant:

Well, hopefully now all the Met fans who defended this worthless bum can finally admit the error of their ways. As disappointing as this was, the ONE LONE gratification I got was seeing this [censored] finally leave a game to the chorus of boos that he deserved.

Here is a little Haiku Poem I wrote about Tom Terrible with the help of ee Cummings:

Tom Glavine
Failure
Terrible Piece of $arbage
(la leaf falling, ERA
(rising) loneliness
Octoberless Mets Octoberless Baseball
1994 Union
Rat Sucks()

Hopefully he signs back with Atlanta so the Mets can get some free wins. (Though we have a history of failing to hit crappy lefties so perhaps not) Either way. Allow me to close with this.

Glavine I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU!!!

Most hated Mets before Today in Order:

1. Robert Alomar
2. Armando Benitez
3. Tom Glavine

Congratulations on moving to #1 Tom. I thought passing Alodouche was an impossibility but you proved me wrong once again. I piss on your 300 wins, you're a loser.

If this is the starters next year then I'll kill myself. Bottom line is the pen has to get better.

I shouldn't be doing this to myself right now, but I am.

Definitely Gone: Rick Peterson (fall guy), Glavine (can't step foot in Shea again), Mota(LDO), Green(LDO), Lo Duca(FA), Conine(retired), Sele(LDO), Valentin(LDO), Williams(who gives a [censored]), Easley?, Anderson?

Should Be Gone But Will Be Back: Willie Randolph (FO retardism), Delgado(contract + broken hand + sucks = can't trade), Schoeneweis (contract)

Not Sure: Alou (might need to keep if they trade Gomez), Castillo (I can make a case for keeping him and for letting him walk, there really are no other 2B out there though)

There are not any sexy FA Starters under 30. Carlos Silva? I dunno. Blah. That means Omar is going to have to make a trade to get younger/better at SP. So good bye Gomez + Pelfrey or Humber.

Lo Duca is gone. Castro is FA and needs to be re-signed. Chavez needs to be brought back especially if Gomez is traded for pitching. Are Heilman & Feliciano FA's?

The bullpen is a big f-ing mess. Are there any relievers worth a damn that are FA's? Linebrink? I dunno.

....uuuuggghhhhhhh

good relievers are such a premium, i'm not sure how the mets get them...

again, i'm not sure how to fix this problem...the pen fell apart, but it was at the end of the year, so how much of this can be attributed to the starters barely going deep into games??

either way, there just aren't that many options anyway out there, so it's going to be hard either way...

hopefully the young talent can step up next year coz for sure they didn't this year (pelfrey)
