Look, Glavine sucked hard and deserves all of the abuse he's going to get, especially for being 0-2 on Ramirez to start the game and walking him, starting the fun. But in his mild defense, the first two base hits were ground balls that found holes, and then Ross's hit was nothing hit hard, again just in the right place.

Starting Glavine on turn was the right move. He's got to get some outs. He didn't. Especially at 4-0 and nobody on base. F him.

As soon as I heard that this ump gives a small strike zone it was over IMO. Glavin is going to lose those everytime.

As soon as I heard that this ump is actually a major league umpire with eyes and a pulse it was over IMO. Glavine is going to lose those everytime.

obv this has nothing to do with the outcome of the game but...

wtf is wrong with willie randolph? glavine lasts a third of an inning, ok take him out. but why in the hell do sosa and el duque, the 2 guys most capable of throwing 5-6 inings of solid releif, get a fking combined 2.2 innings? im sorry thats just retarded

Yeah, Moyer is same way. Once I saw he was getting low strike I knew Phils might not horrendously choke, although we still might.

well with sosa, milledge led off the inning with a walk and the pitcher spot up, i guess willie didn't want to lose an out there with the top of the lineup coming back up

you were down by 7 runs he cant have pitchers giving up outs when you're batting
bullpen has given up 1 run in 7 2/3 on top of it
