I know a lot of people in South Florida that play with Chad that agree he's a nice guy.

I'm sure he brings on a lot of criticism because of what he chooses to wear (particularly in his mouth). I'm also pretty sure he knows that and just doesn't care what everyone else thinks. I don't exactly like his style and probably would be quick to pass judgment if I hadn't heard from so many others about his character, which apparently more than makes up for the fact that he wears that stupid [censored] grill in his mouth.
