Some of the Pride fighters seem to really hate UFC bought Pride. I was watching a Rampage interview pre-UFC 71. Rampage stated that he really liked being in Japan and wishes he was still there. When asked about his opinion of the UFC buy out he had no comment.

Give him 3 months as champion, with all the fame, endorsements, etc. bc the UFC is so much more well known than pride, and then ask him how much he hates the ufc. Love it or hate it, the way the ufc is becoming right now he could be the biggest star in the sport. Win a couple fights and he becomes as big a star as peyton manning (or close). If the UFC does one thing well, its MARKETING MARKETING MARKETING.

Karo looked really pretty good in UFC71. It's a damn shame that the welterwright division is so loaded. It's the one division where the UFC has been and is almost completely dominant over pride, and it's not even close. Hughes, GSP, Serra, Penn, Karo, Koscheck, Sanchez, etc.
If you think about it, most of the UFC is about to be incredibly loaded. The lightweight and middleweight division are the exceptions (not really loaded with tons of top talent), but look at the rest: HW: Couture, Gonzaga, Cro Cop, Big Nog, Arlovski, Sylvia, etc. (and possibly fedor soon) LHW: Rampage, Liddell, Henderson, Wandy, and then a ton of good 2nd level guys like Bisping, Griffin, Ortiz, Evans, Jardine, Alexander who may well contend for the title. WW: listed above. It's a very exciting time for mmmmmmmma right now.
