The Yankees HAVE been far more dominant. I haven't even pretended to argue against that. Once again, who cares? The Celtics have been far more dominant than any team except maybe the Lakers and that's irrelevant right now, too. But that can't be your only ammo for retorts against us annoying Red Sox fans. I'm going to attempt to Hijack this thread and talk about the Yankees comeback win today.


2 outs, nobody on and Josh Phelps up to bat. Not the most hopeful situation. Most fans had left or were in the process of leaving. After each hit the suspense got greater and greater. I was sitting in the third row and I have to say, when A-rod flipped that bat I got goosebumps. Amazing comeback!

One of the best things about baseball: NO CLOCK. You get three outs and it ain't over till it's over.

I can't stand the people who leave sporting events like NHL games, or baseball games, or football games, or anything. Mind you... baseball is really the only sport where this can happen because of no time limit, like you said. But even to sit around at Yankee Stadium and catch the last few outs... I would never pass up that opportunity. I'm going to the NY/BOS area in a week to see the Yanks/Mets/Red Sox/Orioles home games... going to be there at gate opening... and be the last person to leave!
