Re: ** WSOP ME, $10,000 NLHE, Day 4, Fri., July 13 **
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Now shows Dario at 1.37mil [/ QUOTE ] This is why you shouldn't even pay attention to those chip counts. Throuought the entire WSOP they have not been correctly posted or kept up with well. Some ppl's counts don't even move, then you find out they are out. [/ QUOTE ] It wasn't a missing 0. They reposted that he lost a hand of 1163000 but now they've changed it to show: 1370000 70000 137000 1163000 2007-07-13 15:38 PST 1300000 580000 2007-07-13 15:09 PST 1880000 45000 2007-07-13 14:14 PST 1925000 25000 2007-07-13 14:00 PST 1900000 100000 2007-07-13 13:52 PST 1800000 70000 2007-07-13 13:45 PST 1870000 70000 2007-07-13 13:26 PST 1800000 598000 2007-07-13 13:09 PST 2398000 2007-07-13 03:34 PST |

Re: ** WSOP ME, $10,000 NLHE, Day 4, Fri., July 13 **
No one reported this one, from an hour ago:
Steven "stevebets" Jacobs Eliminated by Samuel "SamG" Padgett After a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Steven Jacobs is all in with {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} (pair of sevens with a diamond flush draw) against Samuel Padgett's {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} (set of fives). Jacobs needs to improve to survive. The turn card is the {9-Clubs}, and Jacobs picks up additional outs with a gutshot straight draw. But the river card is the {K-Hearts}, and Padgett wins the pot with his set of fives. Steven Jacobs is eliminated from the Main Event. |

[ QUOTE ] I have to post this somewhere. Rio last super sat, 550$, 360 runners, 17 seats. 21 left, blinds 3000-6000/500. I have 34k and shove A5o on the button. SB insta calls his 25k stack with 77. flop 765. turn 5 river 5. The place explodes. I gotta play this stupid main event now. [/ QUOTE ] That's a terrible call by the small blind. [/ QUOTE ] Could depend on the other stacks. If he's one of the shorties in the whole tourney, and there's a bunch of bigstacks owning his table, colluding on shorties, etc, - then it might be worth it. But yeah, most likely bad. |

Sorel Mizzi Eliminated
Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi moved all in with a short stack. He was called by Ed Betlow. Mizzi showed {Kd}{Jc}. Betlow flipped over {Ah}{7h}. The flop was {Js}{7d}{3c}. The turn was the {Ac} andthe river was the {8d}. Mizzi's hand did not improve and he busted out. |

Andrew Barnes raised to 25,000 from middle position and Ron Kluber moved all-in for 506,000 from the small blind. Barnes called and showed KK, Kluber had A-K and looked to be in serious danger of elimination [/ QUOTE ] Is this standard play in what is supposed to be the tournament that should crown the world champion?! Angle shooting?
from pokernews.com [ QUOTE ] Senovio Ramirez Forfeits a Pot to Kenny Tran Kenny Tran raises to 30,000, and Senovio Ramirez calls from one of the blinds. The flop comes {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, Ramirez checks, Tran bets 40,000, and Ramirez folds. The turn card is the {K-Diamonds}, and both players check. The river card is the {Q-Diamonds}, Ramirez bets 67,000, and Tran calls. This is where it gets interesting. As soon as Tran calls, Ramirez says, "You win." Tran tosses his cards and waits for the pot, but notices that Ramirez is still holding his cards. Tran quickly grabs his cards back, waiting. Ramirez does nothing, and the dealer tells him that if he truly forfeits the pot, he needs to muck his cards before she can push it to Tran. Tran says, "You'd better muck your cards." Ramirez postures for a bit, but eventually mucks his cards. The pot is pushed to Tran, who then, and only then, mucks his cards. [/ QUOTE ] |
