the_main i have some advice for you.

do not kill yourself playing a bunch of hands to reach the 750k milestone. you will burn yourself out for next year. instead, play all those hands in 2008, become elite, and possibly get the 1250k milestone.

i have 400k, but will not be shooting for the 750k because i know school will get into the way. However, i do plan to become elite in 2008, and play in the 2009 ME. you are speaking with the 2009 world champion.

Playing with technologic at my 2/4Nl table -- the guy who came 3rd or 4th in the WSOP ME last year.

How can he take these stakes seriously?

500K bonus will be easy -- I need some kind of motivation to put in copious amounts of hands.

I'd also like to get elite next year -- we'll see, it's pretty G-D tough.

Yeah thats him. Seemed like a nice guy in chat.
His stats weren't the greatest either, so I don't think he was too serious about it. But he did say he was trying to build his online roll.

I heard he has most of his ME winnings in investments. Seems like a smart guy. Doesn't let his ego get in the way and play nosebleed stakes because of a big tourney score.

i know exactly what you mean. though when you compare the benefits of 750 to elite, it is hardly worth it. it would suck really back to end up with 735 or something, and have wasted all of that time. however, if you think you can do it this year w/out getting too burned out for next year, then the $40k is very tempting.

Wow, how do you guys play so many hands? Serious question. I have a hard time hitting 50K hands a month, never mind supernova elite lol.

I guess I'm just incapable of playing marathon sessions while maintaining my A-game.
