Was Don Sutton in California's rotation and was Reggie still a regular? I don't remember that series. I was 4. [/ QUOTE ] 1986 California Angels. NT! is wrong (ahhhhh, I just like saying that, I only get so many chances [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]). At the age of 41, Sutton tied for the team lead in games started, started a game in the ALCS, and also came on in relief in game 7. Two earned runs in ~10 innings, but as far as far as he and Reggie goes, I think that was basically the end of the line for them. Reggie was a shadow of his former self but nonetheless started at DH. |
