PITTM,

I'm not going at anyone in particular. For the record, I am not a GSW hater, I'd really like to see them matchup with Phoenix and in fact picked them to take out Utah. It just seems like alot of the GSW fans here are overreacting to alot of comments. You don't see Utah fans blowing up or getting defensive because some posters picked GS. Everybody needs to calm down and enjoy the ride.

Edit - The whole situation just reminds me of the Nash debates. I really love Nash, but get sick of the fanboys bringing him up in every thread, and I think alot of people feel that way. Just because someone doesn't agree doesn't make them a hater

By-Tor, definitely a foul on Baron, but a great non-call as well. Awesome picture. I wonder what AK47's wife thinks of it.

QFT

Nets-Cavs: difference in the series so far has obviously been rebounding. Somehow New Jersey's two guards (Kidd and Carter) have accounted for 57% of the Net's total rebounds (39/69). For them to win their frontcourt has to act like the big goofy mother [censored] they are and crash the boards. I think with a couple days for Lawrence Frank to yell at them it'll happen here in game 3. Also look for the Nets so far non-existant transition game to pick up somewhat. I think the Nets take this one without too much trouble.

last year, Kidd, Carter, and RJ were 1, 2, and 3 in pts, reb, and asst for the Nets. not in that order, but in some semblance of that order.

THAT is what you call a 3-man team.

I like Varejo, but I don't disagree with Walton's assessment that he's just looking for an excuse to fall down on the defensive end

I third Walton's sentiment.

He also just spent two minutes clamoring about John Stockton. I'm glad I started liking Walton, because a year ago that would've driven me crazy.

He is def. an aquired taste. At least he's cut back on using "greatest ________ in the history of the NBA" in recent years.
