SpecT is going for ~6 months so I will be there that long, after that 6 months I will decide if I'm going to stay or move somewhere else

Had to look it up because I had no idea what that was. No, it's not at all. It's not very tropical here.

Is the University of Buenos Aires (economic dept.) having lectures in English, or only in Spanish?

If the latter, how long would it take to learn spanish well enough for academic use (I have no knowledge of spanish at all, the 'closest' thing is 3 years of french in high school)?
