just got done with a 5k hand day... i can't fathom how people do this on a regular basis. 8.5 hours 6 tabling just cause i was pissed how bad i was running... -1400 sklansky bucks on the day.

also, for the life of me i can't play well at 2/4. i don't know if anyone else experiences this, but i constantly feel like i have to outplay everyone, which leads me to make ridiculous plays. i also convince myself since everyone is more aggressive that their range is super wide and that it's ok to call down with middle pair.

For whenever we had that huge discussion about how overbet flop shoves always the nuts, I present to you this:

Full Tilt Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $143.50
SB: $319.95
Hero (BB): $200
UTG: $199.20
CO: $363.70

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
2 folds, BTN raises to $4, SB folds, Hero calls $2

Flop: ($9) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $139.50 and is All-In, Hero calls $139.50

Turn: ($288) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

River: ($288) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

Results: $288 Pot ($3 Rake)
BTN showed J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a pair of Twos) and LOST (-$143.50 NET)
Hero showed A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Twos) and WON $285 (+$141.50 NET)

4 tabling for the first half of the month while playing nl400 is turning out to be a really good idea. i need that extra time to pick things up and get a feel.

Last time I'll mention it for a while:

I really want to get into some sort of prop bet for like 40, 50, or 60k hands for the month of November. Stakes aren't that important but somewhere in the $500-$1000 range would be nice. PM me if you're interested.

shpanko - id do one, but i already have one, and don't want the added pressure of any more than $2k i have already. My bet is with sputnik for 50k hands, so u might want to see if he's interested in cross booking, hes really interested in grinding hard this month.
