You're never going to "fix" BBV4L by banning people you don't like. BBV4L used to be so friendly and welcoming, and that's why it was so much better than OOT. But if you're going to be a bunch of [censored]'s like [censored]/NT, it's going to be exactly like OOT, only dumber.

EricW is my single favorite current poster in BBV, and I'm sure I'm not alone. This guy is actually living a real life, complete with good times and bad times, success and failure. It seems he is the only one who can admit he's not perfect. (I'm reminded now of "spaceman" Bryce. Did he get banned? He was another favorite of mine.) I think that's why he is so hated. With his posts, he reminds you that you are not perfect, that you have suffered humiliation, that you are afraid. You think it's better to just not think about these things.

I guess BBV4L is supposed to be a happy and fun circus every day. Well, that's boring. Even if EricW is a gimmick, he is more real to me than any other "tough guy" regular poster in BBV.

Bob,

The point is that EricW isn't living a real life; he's spending all his time posting bad fiction in B4L.

That reminds me, why didn't B4L take off as an acronym? I think I'm literally the only person who uses it.

Also, Bob, I only read that first sentence about EricW living life before I responded. After reading the rest of it, you're just really, really wrong.

Not enough letters.

Which is one thing about EricW -- his posts usually have lots of them. They're not all "QFT" and "LOL suckaments". Even if he were a troll (I'm not saying he is and not saying he isn't) at least he puts effort into most of his OPs.

Comparing Eric with Spaceman Bryce is like lumping Poison together with Black Sabbath.

Nath,

You are mistaking. Eric does not have an act. He obviously exagerates a little, but not nearly as much as you seem to think. The way he posts largely reflects how he acts in real life.

For you to know this, wouldn't you have to be his friend? Because a large part of Eric's argument is that he has no RL friends and thus needs BBV4L to keep him from /suiciding.

What goofyballer just said; also, explain his completely normal posting prior to the opening of BBV4Life.
