I thought about that too for a second but it can't be. Jack saw the newspaper clipping on the plane and was clearly distraught. He ended up going to the funeral and asked Kate why she wasn't there. He wouldn't be so choked up if it was Ben.

I think Jack was distraught because he felt responsible for that person's death, ie Locke who never really wanted to leave the island. I think Locke makes sense, it really can't be anyone else.

That was my point? Season 4 cant exactly focus on bens people because theyre dead. Some 3rd party conflict has to be introduced for the 4th season. Trying to speculate as to what that 3rd party is.

All the "angry" ones are dead. The people left are scientists and stuff. Tom and his cronies all went to the island, none of the other "others" really fought much.

no worries, Lost is never as it seems. No way the writers would lead us into the future already. Either that or there's more to the story.

Richard was the one who introduced Juliette to the island, but he seems to be siding more with the Losties right now. I think that he'll end up being the person who reveals just about everything we need to know about the island (cept the Jacob stuff).
