I think Burrell gets judged off of how he produces. Normally I would say that BA w/ RISP is a useless stat, but when you see Burrell on a daily basis and you can see his problem.

[/ QUOTE ]

Burrell actually is hitting well w/RISP this year, with a .910 OPS.

[/ QUOTE ]

where are you getting .910? phillies.com has it at .764 right now

w/RISP . . .

Team is playing really well right now. If Burrell and Eaton only played against the Mets theyd be HOFers.

That was an awesome game to see in person as a Phillies fan. Nothing like seeing the range of emotions of 25,000 Mets fans turn from absolute glee after the back-to-back to horror after Burrell's bomb.

BTW, I was in the upper deck and immediately thought Wright's blast was a home run. Now, based on the comments in this thread I'm not so sure. Was there a definitive camera angle shown on TV?

It's on phillies.com, or espn.com, or yahoo.com, or probably any site that has baseball stats. Go to splits or situational hitting, depending on the site.

The issue is that the umps didn't rule it a HR until seeing the replay, which is verboten (replay that is). I'm more annoyed with the bunt where he was obviously outside the box when he made contact.
