Hey I was just wondering if some of the NL200 regs could tell me how the games are? I currently play on stars and the games are great but hard to find 4 (good) tables at certan times.

Anyone crushing these games?

Whats style are most people playing?

thx for the tips.

Have anyone played against this guy 17013 on NL100? He is really aggressive and Im having a tough time to adjust to his style. Is complete nuts or is he actually solid? He runs 40/15/3, How do you adjust to a guy like that?

I have him down $73 over the last 8,627 hands, so no he's not solid. I usually try to sit on his left just because he floats c-bets a lot, and reraise the hell out of him with solid hands because he calls 3-bets with k,3 suited and better? lol.

I started a new NL200 database and Indi_T is not playing NL200 anymore, but a think that he was a NL200 regular few weeks / months ago.

Downswing/doomswitch and moved down?

yeah i have that on Indi as well, he seems solid. Cardsman seems to have solid stats but seems to do weird stuff, and fishy plays

"Weird stuff" and "fishy plays" are usually planned spots that unfortunately went wrong.

My definition of a good regular factors in longevity/sustained winning. A player winning at 5+ ptbb/100 this month may be busto next month, so the regulars I see classified as "good" are misplaced somewhat because of a lack of proven sustainability. I read most posted lists as: "who's running well."

Of the above mentioned players, only Beerpants and Cardsman 1992 have been playing FT NL100 for any substantial amount of time. Since I often see many players listed as "good regulars" go busto in the next month, I am cautious to ever classify them as a "regular" or even "good". A perfect example is vizer02. Vizer is actually fairly new to the game. He and I shared PMs back in mid-April - that was only 4 months ago! It was then he was at NL100 for a few months and, IMO, not very good. Notwithstanding, he built a nice BR, moved to NL200 and did well. Now he is back at NL100 with a refined game that I highly respect because he makes great decisions (for the most part), wins at a nice clip, and, most importantly, has sustained those winnings. I would classify him as a "good regular."

While not all inclusive, failure to mention EyefoldAA, Raisinchips, UnSmart, Roon2020, TheSnake-28, dobieatwar, (and about 8 others) in a list of good FT NL100 regulars would make that list inaccurate.

You usually see these names listed on the "good regs" list, but I just don't get some of them. TheSnake-28 is a rock and totally predictable...he and EyeFoldAA aren't really all that aggressive, and I've come away genuinely unimpressed with their games. Roon2020 is a bit more aggressive, but he's still very rocky. UnSmart is okay, I guess, but these guys are only good because they beat the bad players. The only two of those that I actually hate sitting with are Raisinchips and dobieatwar (who is probably the best player at the level).

My sample size (in terms of playing) is very, very small on FTP because I don't like playing with 13/5's that never put money into the pot, but the best regulars I've seen are dobieatwar, vizer02 (highest FTP winner in my database), LifeTilt, Ismalrn, pahia24, and chambraigne.

Also, while looking through this, I noticed that DON KEY OT is running 5.26/2.19 and is +5.71PTBB/100 in my database. So yes, winrates through datamining aren't exactly the best indicators of talent.
