These two words sound exactly the same to me. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I'm not sure what the difference is supposed to be. Do you not pronounce the first syllable of horrible as rhyming with store, bore, etc.?

indict has gotten me many times. sad part i that I know I'm pronouncing it wrong, and yet still cannot prevent myself from saying in-dict instead of in-dite

A woman I used to work with would refer to the year beginning Oct 1, as the "physical year".
