What makes people think that the bill won't pass in the senate?

15 minutes and counting. I'm either running to the 'fridge for a beer celebration or drowning my sorrows in beer. :-/

What kind of poker player are you? 18-year old scotch is the proper drink for this occasion!

bookers bourbon baby!!!! Scotch is for old men.

Bourbon, brownest of the brown liquours. Wonderful, but I prefer scotch. Something about drinking something that is older than me

I'm not entirely convinced it won't, but arguments for why it won't are essentially:

- Time left in Congressional legislative schedule
- Odds that one Senator (or a small group, likely from Nevada) will object and slow/hold up the process

So what happens if time "runs out" in the congressional legislative schedule? Does the legislation die then, or is debate and vote in the senate postponed?

Conyers moves to prevent underage kids from gambling on the internet. How his ammendment will do that - who knows. Says current bill has a "loop-hole" [No kidding!]

There will be a vote on the Conyers motion to recommit which is a common procedural motion to essentially send the bill back to committee (it will kill the bill probably)

Expect it to be voted down handily.

Then we will finally have final passage vote on HR 4411
