Taste in music has got to be the most clear pointer here. Also, I think you have to be old enough to have some decent experience in the field, if you want to use these things as a test of any precision.

Liking Dream Theatre is a pretty good indicator that you suck IMO, also people thinking that Tool are geniuses, even tough it is a good band. IMO it is better to call Kurt Coain a genius than any of these groups. Mars Volta falls in the same category. But it's certainly ok to like these bands.

Obviously Creed.

If you like jazz, but only as background music, it's likely you suck.

- Sportcenter and Stuart Scott
- telling you how "greasy" a good San Francisco Mission Burrito is
- racing decals on cars
- pink polo shirts (having a popped collar just seals it)
- sunglasses while playing low stakes poker
- spinning things on their basketball shoes (WTF is that?)
- bragging about how much they puked because they were so hammered last night
- Paris Hilton

I also second Chipotle, Arby's, McDonald's, Dr. Phil, etc.

DaVinci code was a good book. People who are just now talking about it suck, and have probably never read a book.
White meat chicken? WTF is that all about? Only people I see choosing dark meat are... well, dark.
Agree that Pink shirts and pop collars are terrible.
Loud mufflers on Civics are also horrid.
