I assume there's a decent chance that the girl I talked to is Maria from this thread. Even though she's at best stupid and, at worst, a con-artist, I think it's kinda funny that some woman was able to piss off this many people in a male-dominated realm.

When doing as much as a seach on Steven and Maria as I had time for, I found a for profit company they founded, whose stated goal was the recovery of propery confiscated by the Castro regimed. I am not really sure how they could assist people with this, but this seems to be how they met. I will find the link and post it as soon as I am able. It contained the best bio info on the two of them, I was not able to find a complete resume on either, which is more unusual now.

My assumption is that he mistyped the man's name. I read it as "Steven" should be "William". I believe William Pereira is Maria's partner in CEO Poker Tour.
