It's just sex. [/ QUOTE ] agreed... but sex is not quite equal to the "it's just sex" we had when we were teenagers whether it is right or wrong. It's a good thing that both my wife and I are open w/ each other and our whole family. Many kids notice when their parents feel awkward/ashamed/dissappointed when talking about certain things and end up internalizing things and not communicating at all.. unfortunately.

I think my whole philosophy with regard to the "sex talk" with my kids is going to be, "Take that step when YOU are ready, don't take it just for someone else, and when you DO take it, protect yourself and your future." Seems like nowadays that's the best approach, not that it's easy.
