What is the highest limit or no limit action available in Florida? Where is it located?

Highest no limit action available: $100 buyin.

Highest limit action available: $3/$5.

All, please make a note of this so you don't have to ask yet again.

If anyone has first hand info on what took place at the 'Big Meeting' today with the state, we would love to hear some of the decisions that were worked out. i.e. max buyin amounts, jackpot do'es and don'ts stradleing etc.

In the rooms I frequent:

NL with max $100 buyin: 1/2 and 2/5.

LHE: 1/2, 2/2, 2/4, 3/5.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ok, thans for the reply...So the rooms you frequent have 1/2NL and 2/5NL, both with a $100 max buyin. Where I live (Melbourne), the dog track only has a 1/2NL game. Which places have the 2/5NL buyin consistently?

The Isle in Pompano and Gulfstream in Hallandale Beach always have at least one table of 2/5 NL going.

Put a full day in at Pomapano today at 1/2NL made a nasty mistake or 2 unfortunately but still walked a BI up. Tougher competitors today but still loads of good stuff. I played nitier than a nit could ever nit because I had time and everyone else had money. The 2/5 NL tables are interesting with the $100 max BI, have not played but observed the stacks. I saw over 3K at the table in chips at one point buying in legally.
For the last 2 years I have wanted nothing more than leave this God awful place (south FL) but now I almost want to stay. I have been training for this (I'm a micro stake online NL 6-max player and work for 10-20 an hour laboring).
Anyway I'm a real orinary bassard sometimes but if you want say Hi to Chilly (aka the guy wearing the Cycling cap) I'll be cool and enjoy meeting a fellow 2 by 2.
