Re: *official 2007 red sox thread*
Watching this team the last two days I can't shake the feeling that this is perhaps the greatest assemblage of baseball talent of all time. Three home runs a game and a 1.00 ERA is just absurd.
Does anyone have even a chance against this team in the playoffs? |

I don't expect to see Gagne coming in for key situations during the playoffs. [/ QUOTE ] He will most likely come into a game in a key situation. It would be almost impossible for him not to, unless everything went perfect for BOS and they rarely had 'key situations'. If there are key situations and he doesn't face any batters, then I will have to assume that Theo and Tito were fired and the fans decided to bring in a lesser pitcher. Gagne isn't as good as he was when he was with LAD, due to injuries. But, he also hasn't had the advantage of pitching in Dodger stadium in the NL West. All things considered, unless he is hurt, there is really no reason for people to start (not saying you are) pissing themselves over Gagne's recent performance. I am not saying he should get 100% trust, but he should be given the benefit of the doubt (and if not him getting the benefit, then math and people who are smarter than me who researched this). I think the BOS fans (who after this last month or two made me realize why Theo looks much older than he is and Manny wants to be traded all the time) should be way more concerned about the bench. craig |

As I told gehrig, I'm rooting to lose the bet. It's nice to see the Magic Number actually move. It's been a week since that happened. |

Dice-K better slow down, he's left the mound 3x when the ump has called a ball in a strike out count to end the inning. |

Re: *official 2007 red sox thread*
