I actually sorta like HU razz.

One thing that does suck is getting down to heads-up in a razz MTT, being against somebody who plays chicken just as fearlessly as you do (but not so much more fearlessly that you can get paid when you actually have cards), having enough chips and such slow ante/bet increases that very little headway is made per hand, and having the cards break so abnormally even that you play for what feels like ages while staying basically even in chips.

That was pretty painful.

We eventually agreed to straddle/bring-in full every hand just to get the action going, and the cards started breaking in my favor.

taking a break, i'm down 750 over 23k hands.

i spewed 1k in my first 2k hands and found a huge leak which i fixed

i tilted ~700 recently (i havn't had a tilt problem in the past year but recently zomg)

even if i get 1700 back, i'm not beating the game by any great margin and i don't think i'm +ev enough to keep playing nlcash. i'll take a few days off and revaluate

I've made like 700 back out of my 1100ish downswing (plus that 1200-1300 of my buddy's I haven't even broken into). If I start running like the rest of this forum again it may break me.
