What we still need:
I think all we still need is a few more folding chairs, so I ask that anyone with one or two to please bring them. We may need them, we may not.

The rules and what to expect:
Just to put it out there, here are a couple realities/requests for everyone coming:
1: Try to park on/down the street if you can. It draws less attention.
2: This is a 'mens club' full of mostly war vets and old-timers. I know I don't have to say it, but R-E-S-P-E-C-T. We will surely be infringing on their space.
3: SeaSiren, bring a pair of these () or let me know and I'll bring a pair for you.

Start time:
Start time is 1:00 sharp. You will be blinded if late.
I will be there from about 11:00 on. It opens at 10:00.

If you can think of anything I'm missing, please mention it.

even though i hate last spot just getting their money back (and these percentages won't work 6 ways if anyone bails):

1st 42.5% ($1360)
2nd 24.5% ($780)
3rd 14% ($450)
4th 10% ($320)
5th 6% ($190)
6th 3% ($100)

We'll have to figure out the actual numbers once the tourney is rolling and we know how many we ended up with, but this gives us a baseline to work off. I vote if we drop below 30 we go back to my original proposal. Any objections to any of this?

I was serious when I said I preferred winner-take-all but I don't expect that to fly. I would certainly rather pay 4 or 5 than 6. 4 is 1/8th of the field; that's plenty if you ask me.

Holy crap, someone called asking how much the tourny was this Saturday, wouldn't give his name and spooked the owner. I don't know how it happened, but it may have been from here since I listed the number in the PM I sent and the numbers not even listed in the phone book.
Either way, after a fitfull night and a game being broken up a mile down the road last Monday, he called me tonight and said he's really sorry but he can't host.

So in short order

That sucks.
I may have a friend who can host in his poker room basement, I'll email him in the morning. Also considering other options.
Put your thinking caps on.
